ART FORM - POETRY

LESSON - THE PERSONALITY TRAITS AND CHARACTERISTICS THAT PRIMARY AND SECONDARY COLORS POSSESS & HOW WE CAN ALSO IDENTIFY WITH THEM.

ACTIVITY - CREATE A PICTURE USING WORDS - A POEM ABOUT THEMSELVES USING THE TRAIT KEYWORDS WHICH THEY AND THE COLORS BOTH EMBODY.

MATERIALS USEDPLAIN PAPER, CONSTRUCTION PAPER, PENCILS, CRAYONS AND MARKERS

IMPACT - VISUAL ARTS EDUCATION & COLOR WERE USED TO STIMULATE CREATIVITY. THEIR IMAGINATION WAS ALSO STRENGTHENED BECAUSE OF THE CONCEPTUAL THINKING USED TO FORMULATE THE POEM. THESE ACTIVITIES AIDED IN THEIR SELF-ESTEEM AS THE STUDENTS WERE ABLE TO POSITIVELY AFFIRM THEIR STRENGTHS AND UNIQUENESS USING COLORS. THEIR SOCIAL EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT WERE ENHANCED BECAUSE THEY LEARNED THE IMPORTANCE OF SELF-LOVE & WORTH.
